An empty lot near Mosaic Stadium used to be filled with Rider fans barbecuing, tossing a football, visiting and getting ready for the game with a tailgate party.
But this Sunday before the game, there will be a small but determined group of fans who are resisting what it says are the city’s efforts to move them out.
